Meet Alisa M. Reed, DDS

Touching Lives –
Transforming Smiles

Training You Can Trust

After graduating from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Biology, Dr. Reed went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University. But Dr. Reed was too enthralled by the possibilities of dentistry to stop there and continued her training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at LSU.

That devotion to knowledge and staying on the leading edge of dentistry remains bright in Dr. Reed, no matter how many patients she sees or how many years she practices. She has studied at the prestigious Dawson Center for Comprehensive Dental Studies and regularly attends dental continuing education classes and seminars on state-of-the-art procedures such as dental implants, Invisalign, Bioclear, Fotana laser dentistry, porcelain veneers, DURAthins, Lumineers, as well as best practices for safety and sterilization.

Her latest passion is sleep, not getting more for herself but helping patients who struggle with breathing issues such as sleep apnea. Dr. Reed has extensive training in using state-of-the-art, effective sleep medicine treatments such as mandibular advancement devices. She can also use patient-friendly, non-invasive, non-ablative NightLase laser technology to tighten the collagen in your throat and open your airway for more rejuvenating, restful sleep.

Dr. Reed isn’t about all work and no fun. She’s been living in The Woodlands since 1997, with a son at college and a daughter in high school, and another working in The Woodlands. Her love for learning about all things dentistry remains, alongside her passion for travel, taking in live music, tending to her garden, and playing with her dogs, Dug and Nola.

“Smart.” “Savvy.”
“Experienced.” “Kind.”
“Commited.”

Dr. Alisa Reed, dentist, smiling warmly

Those are just a few of the words patients use when describing Dr. Alisa Reed and her exceptional Woodlands dental care.

Our patient family appreciates that Dr. Reed isn’t brand new to dentistry (she has over 25 years of experience in everything from preventive to cosmetic dentistry). They also love that she approaches every day in the office and each new opportunity to transform a smile with the kind of enthusiasm and excitement a recent dental-school graduate might have.

Dentistry really is Dr. Reed’s passion – but not just because she enjoys the technical and artistic aspects of the work. She also delights in her patients, getting to know them on a personal level, listening to them, and responding carefully to their individual needs. That’s right – you really are the reason Dr. Reed is in practice!
