Dr. Stacey Smith has worked in the dental field since 2004, having received her education from Texas A&M University with a degree in biology. She earned her dental credentials from the University of Texas Health Science Center at the San Antonio Dental School. Dr. Smith went on to complete a two-year Advanced General Dentistry residency at the university. Upon completing her residency, she taught for 7.5 years at the San Antonio Dental School, teaching both undergraduate and residents as the program director.
Dr. Smith was driven to get into dentistry by her love of helping others. She has a true calling for making a person feel at ease when they’re in the dental chair. She’s passionate about educating her patients to make empowered choices about their oral health, bringing joy into each experience. She loves watching her patients transform their oral and overall health and being a part of their journey.
Dr. Smith feels what sets the Woodlands Dental Group apart from the others is the unique “home quality” of the office. Patients are treated like family members and never leave feeling like strangers! Developing relationships with each of her patients is very important to Dr. Smith, as she believes that building a foundation for oral health starts with a trusting connection.
When she’s not laughing with patients in the office, Dr. Smith is probably doing the same at home with her family and friends. She says, “If you can’t laugh at yourself, who will laugh at you?”
